Willie Wigness
Born on Thursday Island, Willie hails from the Aboriginal Kuarareg nation. He has had an extensive career working for law enforcement entities representing the Commonwealth and State Public Service. Working with traditional owners and stakeholders locally, domestically and internationally. He will provide added value to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural diplomacy dynamics of the Torres Strait. In particular, his experience and knowledge in native title and land trust negotiations will be of significant value.
