Paul House
Paul is a Ngambri-Ngunnawal custodian of the Canberra region with Walgalu, Ngunnawal and Wiradjuri ancestry. Over the past twenty years he has performed in the role of Chairperson both Ngunnawal and Ngambri Local Aboriginal Land Councils and is currently a board member of the latter. He has performed numerous Welcome to Country protocols during the past 30 years for Australian prime ministers at openings of federal parliament and other special national events. He currently holds the position of Senior Team Leader, Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Strategy in the Office of Environment and Heritage. He graduated from Macquarie University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Community Management and is currently enrolled in the Master of International Law and Diplomacy at the ANU.
